Few words at the beginning
Several months ago I was searching for a moisturizer cream for combo skin like mine. For many years I had a trouble with some european products, ’cause they didn’t suit to my skin, though were described as best solution for combo skin. Last year I found some reviews from russian beauty-bloggers about korean cosmetics and was first sceptical. Is it a right thing for me? But I decided to try and wasn’t disappointed at all. Since then I am a loyal follower of K-Beauty. About K-Beauty I am going to do another post.
I was searching for a moisturizer cream that perfectly suits to combo/oily skin. Not too thick, absorbs well and didn’t leave a film of grease, because I had some troubles with the sebum. Who has a combo skin will understand. Furthermore it should behave well under make up. European creams I used for years could’t help me, because they always left the terrible grease and a feeling of clog pores. I don’t want to drag european cosmetics in the mud, but only describe what it did to me. There are good products for sure, but what I used wasn’t good enough. And it wasn’t cheap!!!
I found a moisturizer I wanted in a german online-shop for korean cosmetics. I am talking about the True Water gel cream from korean brand THANK YOU FARMER. I tried to find something about the brand, but there’s not much.
Was founded in 2014. Since then the company tries to increase the range of products. It was difficult to understand what the company stands for, I mean the values and what is the promise for the customer.
To the product
Price: it depends on seller so the price can vary. I for myself bought it for about 40 €. Cannot remember exactly ’cause it was months ago. It is not cheap.
It came to me in a small box.
In the box a glass jar.
Has a coverage inside against contamination) I wonder why korean manufacturer don’t cover the jars with alunimun foil? High-priced european creams I bought in the past had an alu-foil as a coverage.
The colour is neither orange nor pink. Yellow?
It smells wonderful. I like it so much, so I can say I wanna buy it just because of this.

If you can read (say understand) chemical language there are many “unsuitable” things in it like silicone and paraffin for example, that can cause clog pores. But it doesn’t hold me off of using it.
The description of the manufacturer:
A light and fresh hydraring gel cream that describes fresh fruits filled with full of juice.
The texture ist gel-like, very light. It really melts into the skin and gives you unforgetable feeling of moisture and freshness. Simply unbelievable!
– it is lightweight
– moisturizes well,
– gives an unforgetable refreshing feeling.
– absorbs completely
– I cannot say it clog the pores. Far from it! When I was using it, I simply forgot sebum-trouble
– doesn’t leave a film of grease
– is good as a make up basis
Did I like it? – YES!
Will I use it again? – Have nothing against it.
Can I recommend it? – Yes, but if you can order first samples to test it.
By the way they have a counterpart for dry skin too:
I hope I could help someone with this review. See you next time again.
Stay beautiful 🙂
