Last month I found finally my new fave sheet masks. I was looking for moisturizing masks without sticky film on skin after using. Unfortunately many of the masks I used before were sticky even if they worked.

I have to say:

You should know, if the mask is sticky then:

  1. It contains hyaluronic acid that is known to be sticky because its molecules are to big to penetrate the skin, though good cosmetics contain low-molecular weighted hyaluronic acid that has been split into smaller pieces and can absorb into the skin.
  2. Your cleansing products don’t suit your skin or simply don’t work or you are too lazy to clean your face. Don’t feel offended, it can happen. I had such moments, when I said to myself: I am so tired! I don’t wanna do anything! I want simply relax. The result: I had pimples, red and oily skin.
  3. You don’t exfoliate your skin, because you think your daily cleanser and tonic is enough. Big mistake I did for many years. The outermost layer of our skin is made of dead cells that must be removed to give the skin the possibilty to renew.
  4. The sheet mask is bad.
  5. Your skin care products don’t suit your skin type.

If the points 2, 3 and 5 are your case, so your skin is simply dirty, has clogged pores and cannot breath. As a result you can get pimples, redness, oily shine, bad skin complexion and what is very important – your skin care products don’t work.

You should know: even excellent cosmetics cannot help, but harm your skin, if you don’t clean your face accurately.

But enough for this, I was talking about new sheet masks I tested last week. If you still don’t know them, so let me introduce to you: A’Pieu Real Big Yogurt One Bottle Sheet Masks.

About company

The company was founded 2008 and is a subsidiary company of another well known korean cosmetic brand Missha. After conquering the domestic market, the brand started to export their cosmetic abroad. A’PIEU offers products for facial skin care, make up, body and hair care.

A’PIEU describes itself: (https://apieumalaysia.com/)

A’PIEU is a Korean skincare and cosmetics brand for young women in their teens and twenties as our products are fun and cute, with a touch of childlike innocence. Our products are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive young skin...

A’PIEU claims that all of their products are suitable for sensitive skin,  being “formulated with gentle but effective ingredients” to restore “skin’s pure energy”.

They say their target group are girls and young women in teens and twenties, but it shouldn’t discourage you to try their products. I am 38, and I tried these masks and simply fell in love with them.

The package is very cute for my taste. Looks like a bootle of milk, but as the name suggests it is a bottle of yogurt.

The description on the package is only in Korean on both sides. I used the description of the seller http://www.lovemycosmetics.de, where I bought the masks to understand what it is about.

The mask has got a foil on it. Very good shape. Not too small and not too big, suitable for european faces. The sheet itself is yery thin and feels nice on skin.

The promise

FOR ALL SKIN TYPES!

All masks contain: yogurt-extract and lactobacillus that should strengthen the natural skin barrier. Furthermore, the masks should tighten the skin and moisturize.

Plain contains apricot fruit extract that protects the skin from dehydration and smooths. The mask should moisturize.

Mango contains mango fruit extract that is high in nutrient-substances, fiber, vitamin A & C and polyphenol which should have an antioxidant effect. The mask should nourish and brighten the skin.

Blueberry contains blueberry extract which is also rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from harmful free radicals. The mask should give the skin its vitality back.

My experience

Like I said the masks feel nice on skin. The shape is very comfortable. The sheets themselves are very good soaked with the serum, not too much and not too less. What a harmony!

The serum from all the masks absorbs very good into the skin. No stickness at all!

After applying the skin feels soothed, hydrated and full of energy. I enjoyed every time I applied them.

Plain

  • very moisturizing
  • improves skin complexion
  • smooths
  • nourishes
  • tightens
  • gives shine and glow to the skin
  • reduced redness (I noticed)
  • minimized pores (I noticed)
  • AMAZING, simply AMAZING smell!!!!!! Love it! And it lasts for a long time.

Mango

  • soothing and calming
  • moisturizing, though not so much like Plain
  • smooths
  • brightens, not much for my taste
  • nourishes
  • tightens
  • very light smell, doesn’t last long

Blueberry

  • moisturizes
  • nourishes
  • smooths
  • tightens
  • good smell, lasts a bit longer than of mango

Conclusion

What can I say? I liked all of them, but my favourite is of course the PLAIN!

The masks suit to all skin types. They are very gentle.

Can I recommend? – YES!

Try them and you’ll love them

Stay beautiful 🙂
