Cosmetics from China? – 101 E skin revive review

All the thoughts and opinions in my posts are my own at the moment. The posts and reviews aren’t sponsored yet and the links I share aren’t affiliate links yet. For the case IF I’ll mark the sponsored/affiliate content.

Cosmetics from China? Are you serious? How can you trust them? They copy everything! Why you don’t want to try conventional western cosmetics? Questions like these could fall on me when I’d have told my relatives I wanna try Chinese products.

But to be honest: would you buy Chinese cosmetics?

How many Chinese cosmetic brands do you know?

I knew none.

By terms “Chinese cosmetics” I felt myself like on unfamiliar location. Dark, unknown, trustless.

There wasn’t even a moon to shine on me and show the way.

But, somehow I got unwanted a chinese product and it opened me the door to an unknown country.

Enough of prose! Let me tell you how I got this stuff.

My acquaintance with 101 E skin revive

If you read my previous posts, you know that I am on a search for good products for impure skin. I suffered many years from pimples, red spots and bad complexion till I found really good (to be honest excellent) Korean cosmetics. Now I am very satisfied with them and don’t want to get rid of them.

About company

There’s a lot of info about Zhangguang Group, but I was lazy and simply copied from Bloomberg’s website:

Beijing Zhangguang 101 Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company, develops, manufactures, and sells hair and skin care products. It offers scalp and hair care formulas for male and female pattern baldness, and itchiness and flakiness; hair nourishing shampoos; and beauty creams for acne. The company sells its products through distributors in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australasia. It also sells its products online. The company was founded in 1978 and is based in Beijing, China.

About product

I bought it from my cosmetologist about 3 years ago.

A little bottle of 10 ml, but it also available in 50 ml a bottle.

It is a dark liquid. Has got an intensive herbal scent. Very nice for my taste. Reminds me of drugstore.

Aqua, Alcohol, Sophora Angustifolia, Phryma Leptostachya, Panax Ginseng, Cortex Dictamni, Ledebouriella Divaricata, Angelica Dahuricae, Kochia Scoparia, Panax Notoginseng, Astragalus Membranaceus, Rhizoma Coptidis, Gentiana Scabra, Cortex Phellodendri

Like you can see there are no chemical compounds, only herbs (except of water and alcohol). For me it is a tonic. Somehow it reminds me of Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner, because of the intensive herbal scent.

Where to buy and price:

Available on German Amazon 10 ml – about 16 €   and   50 ml – about 30 €. It depends on the seller. Compared to my flask it is a spray. I guess it is an updated version.

However, doesn’t offer this product.

How to use

After cleanser apply or spray localy on pimples, skin parts with blackheads and red spots or on the whole face if necessary. Use twice a day.

The promise

It should: reduce skin redness and red spots, reduce inflammation, clean pores and controls sebum production, kill bacterias.

My experience

At the time I bought it, I suffered from post-acne red spots, little pimples and had very bad complexion. I asked my cosmetician what she can advise me in that case. She offered me this herbal lotion. I must say I was excited from the first time I applied it on my skin. Believe me or not, but it did wonders!

  • reduced skin redness and red spots
  • reduced pimples
  • gave the skin a healthy look
  • restored skin’s glow
  • the pores feel clean
  • absorbs very well
  • isn’t sticky
  • wonderful scent of fresh herbs

I cannot say it removes blackheads. I couldn’t notice it.

I really like this lotion and bought it twice. It distinguishes from other cosmetics (even Korean) I use, because it is based only on herbs. And it really works, very gently and doesn’t harm. Within 2-3 days I had a clean and healthier skin than before.

What can I say more? It is something like a magic elixir for me. It really did wonder to my skin. My confidence in Chinese cosmetics has increased and I don’t think they are of bad quality any more. I wanna repurchase this in the future for sure. YES; I RECOMMEND:

Stay beautiful 🙂
